A Pakistani native, I've had the privilege of evolving my career from traditional print journalism to the dynamic realms of television and digital media. Over the past two decades, this journey of learning and growth has been exhilarating, fueled by the endless possibilities that AI and a vast array of digital tools offer. The opportunity to utilize advanced technology to craft captivating and engaging narratives for audiences is a constant source of inspiration.
My journalistic odyssey began at the venerable Nation Newspaper in Lahore. However, the burgeoning electronic media landscape soon presented new avenues for exploration. I was fortunate to join GEO, a pioneering news channel in Pakistan, where I honed my skills as both an anchor and a reporter. The subsequent fifteen years were marked by a series of enriching experiences at prominent news organizations such as CNBC, Dunya News, and Pakistan Television.
From 2018 to 2023, I was privileged to work at Voice of America, from Islamabad, During my tenure at VOA, I continued to hone my skills as a digital content producer and gained valuable insights into global news and current affairs.
Currently I've been serving as a correspondent for Nukta for Washington D.C., a leading Pakistani digital media outlet headquartered in Dubai. Armed with a microphone in one hand and a camera in the other, my life as a journalist continues to be a thrilling and dynamic adventure.
